Audio and Video
Dondo enables live video debates. Audio and video streams are transmitted in real-time using LiveKit but are not stored or recorded by our servers. Your audio and video data is streamed peer-to-peer and is not retained after the debate ends.

- Create and manage your account
- Enable you to participate in debates
- Match you with debate opponents based on topics and stances
- Provide AI-powered debate coaching and summaries
- Display leaderboards and earned badges

Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate and improve Dondo:
Supabase (Backend Services)
Stores your account data, debate content, and user profiles. All data is encrypted at rest.
Data shared: Account info, user content, profile data
PostHog (Analytics)
Helps us understand how users interact with the app to improve features.
Data shared: Anonymized user ID, app interactions, device info
NOT shared: Email, passwords, personal content
Sentry (Error Tracking)
Monitors app stability and helps us fix bugs quickly.
Data shared: Device ID, crash reports, error logs
NOT shared: Email, passwords, personal content
LiveKit (Video Streaming)
Powers real-time video debates. Audio/video is streamed but not stored.
Data shared: Real-time audio/video streams (not recorded)
Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption in transit - All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Encryption at rest - Your data stored in our database is encrypted
- Secure authentication - We support password authentication with optional MFA/TOTP and OAuth providers
- Row-level security - Database policies ensure users can only access their own data
- Secure storage - Sensitive credentials are stored using platform-secure storage
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
